What convinced you to go through the LASIK/LASEK surgery? And what reasons and why did you choose Dream Eye Clinic?
I've always wanted to get it done but didnt have enough information to go through with it. I heard that Korea was renowned for this so I did a google search and came across a blog of someone who have done it and wrote about her experience. So i contacted her and asked her a lot questions including the experience she had with Dream Eye Center. She gave me a very postive response. So I decided to go for it and booked for consultation. The consultation took about 2 hours, there were a lot of tests and checks that i had to do, but i passed! So i went ahead and booked the surgery for the weekend after.
Tell us about what has changed since you had your LASIK / LASEK surgery.
What are the major changes comparing your life before and after the surgery?
Straight after the surgery I could already see but my eyes were quite sensitive to the lights so i wore sun glasses for the subway ride home and for next few days. I was so excited since i didnt have to reach for my glasses the next morning! I was a little weird not wearing my glasses but I got used to it now and I feel great! Now, i fogot what it feels like to wear glasses! ^___^
Were there any inconveniences during the recovery process?
And tell us about how satisfied you are with your newly improved vision. ?
There werent any major inconveniences, just that i see halos sometimes at night and that i had to wear eye shields at night for a week but other than that, no!
What were the most valuable and memorable experiences at Dream Eye Clinic?<
The staff at Dream Eye Center! They were so nice and helpful. The ladies at the reception remembers my name when i call up to book for a check up! I remember the nurse who helped during the operation, she was so nice and she held my hands the whole time. She made me feel at ease. She gave me a card after the surgery saying her name and that she was the nurse that helped me (since i had i my closed the whole time, i couldnt see her).
My consultant was also very helpful, she told me everthing i needed to know about the operation. My doctor talked me through the whole operation too so i knew what to expect and wasnt too suprised.
I still remember the "Congratulations" song they played after the surgery! It was so funny ^___^
Finally, what else do you want to tell us (our medical staffs, doctors, and nurses)? (Anything is OK including some of your wishes, advice, or concerns that may help us improve ourselves, our service.) ?
I would just like to say a BIG THANK YOU to everyone there, they made my whole experience there a wonderful one! Oh, one more thing, more lollies please ^____^ Thank you
