I have worn glasses since I was near 8 years old.
I had toyed with the idea of getting eye surgery before, but never really assumed I would actually do it. So I was a bit surprised to find myself booking a consultation.
From the moment I walked in the door I found all members of staff to be pleasant, humorous and very professional.
I went in for my consultation with some initial fears about what the surgery would consist of, but after the most detailed eye exam I’ve ever had they answered every one of my questions thus reassuring me completely.
The operation its self was a dream. I came in to the center after work and the whole procedure lasted a maximum of 14min.
I merely had to lie on the bed and look up while they prepared me then look at a red dot for a few seconds after which I had myself a nice snooze in the recovery room.
In the days following the procedure the staff were very helpful and reassuring as my vision rapidly improved.
I now have prefect vision! One month on I still find myself sometimes reaching up to take off my glasses before I go to bed.
Old habits die hard.
