What convinced you to go through the LASIK/LASEK surgery? And what reasons and why did you choose Dream Eye Clinic?
I wore contacts for over ten years, but following an eye infection, was forced to wear my glasses the majority of the time LASEK is very expensive in the USA and I was extremly impressed by DREAM Eye Clinics reputation and the 1000s of surgeries performed.
Tell us about what has changed since you had your LASIK / LASEK surgery.
What are the major changes comparing your life before and after the surgery?
It’s generally just a feeling of freedom. I appreciate so much waking up in the morning and being able to see the clock without fumbling for my glasses I love being able to see distant subway signs and bus numbers’ I love putting on a pair of sunglasses and being able to see!
Were there any inconveniences during the recovery process?
And tell us about how satisfied you are with your newly improved vision. ?
I’m not going to lie The three days following surgery were pure hell. My eyes hurt and seemed to continuously stream water. But I’d do it all over again in a second It was worth it!!
What were the most valuable and memorable experiences at Dream Eye Clinic?
I really valued and appreciated the constant support of Mr Choo most of my experience with the medical community in Korea is of doctors who speak English and staff who don’t having a fluent English speaker to guide me through the process was invaluable.
Finally, what else do you want to tell us (our medical staffs, doctors, and nurses)? (Anything is OK including some of your wishes, advice, or concerns that may help us improve ourselves, our service.) ?
Prescribe proper pain medication to your patients. I’ve never experienced pain like that and even if pain medication had failed to help it would’ve been nice to know you tried!
Thanks for my new eyes!
