My experience with Dream Eye has been wonderful. I have done so much research on LASIK and LASEK for the past 4 years but have never had the guts to actually go and get my eyes tested. I have tried countless amounts of brands and types of lenses (soft, hard, daily, monthly, yearly, "full of oxygen" lenses) and overall spent about 2 grand trying different types. My eyes were too sensitive for any contacts so I have spent about 20 years wearing glasses or going out to parties or special occasions "blind".
The main reason I decided to finally take the plunge is because I'm getting married in January and I really don't want to miss out on anything or have to wear my thick glasses with my wedding dress:(
So as it turns out, I was a great candidate for LASIK or LASEK. I went with the latter as I workout 6 days a week and I'm very active. I do not regret it at all as I can see better, but it has been over a month and my eyes are still a bit blurry. So if you want fast results, I would go for LASIK. Also I got my surgery in the fall which is drier than spring or summer. One day I woke up abruptly and damaged my cornea from just opening my eyes suddenly. It wouldn't stop watering and it reminded me of the first day when I got the surgery. I waited til 10 and called Dream Eye sobbing and Mun Joo was great at explaining what happened.
Over all, I was a little frustrated because my eyes have not healed yet, but that is just the pace that my eyes are taking. Otherwise, the doctors, staff and everyone is so amazing. I would definitely recommend it to anyone and I already know about 20 people that have had it done (some 8 years ago) and no one I know has ever had a complication. I just hope my eyes heal fast and the blurriness goes away.
One last thing is the price. I know some places in Korea are cheaper but when it comes to my eyes I only want the best. It drives me crazy when someone says,"I only paid this much." Seriously, you are going to go to a place that is cheaper and gamble with damaging your eyesight? I only want the best and that's why I went with Dream Eye!
