What convinced you to go through the Lasik/Lasek surgery? And what made you to choose Dream Eye Clinic?
I always wanted LASEK but was looking for a place with a reasonable price but with knowledgable experience. I chose Dream Eye Clinic because of the reputation it had with foreigners & famous Korean people. I also liked that they had many years of experience in their field & they are always striving to improve.
Tell us about what has changed since you had your Lasik / Lasek surgery. What are the major changes comparing your life before and after the surgery?
I enjoy the freedom of not having to pay for expensive glasses & worrying when they will break. Before surgery, my eyesight was very bad and was close to legally blind in the United States. If I didn't get the surgery, it would have been difficult for me to do certain jobs & even drive. After surgery I feel much more confident about myself and how people think of me! Also I think I look more handsome now! (^_^)
Were there any inconveniences during the recovery process? And tell us about how satisfied you are with your newly improved vision.
The only inconveniences I had was the pain I had for a few days after surgery. I didn't feel like opening my eyes! Also my eyes were so sensitive to light. I sat in house most of they day in darkness. Having dry eyes was difficult to deal at first but the eye drops really helped alot! I feel so much better with the improved vision. I feel like I'm a whole new person. I think my vision is even better then when I was wearing glasses!
What were the most valuable and rememberable experiences at Dream Eye Clinic?
The staff were not only beautiful on the outside but also on the inside! They were so friendly, outgoing, and smart. They were always in a cheerful mood & made you feel like one of their special clients! The equipment they use were the most advanced technology that they could get in their field. The staff described what each specific machine does.
One memorable experience was when the staff was doing my M-LASEK surgery. They forgot to fill the printer with paper. It was right after they finished doing my right eye. They didn't proceed with the left eye until the printer paper was filled!
Finally, what else do you want to tell us (our medical staffs, doctors, and nurses)? (Anything is OK including some of your wishes that may inform us to improve ourselves.)
I just want to say the nurses & medical staff are gorgeous! The doctors are very smart & informative! I really do enjoy the lifetime guarantee of if you have any problems with your eye, they will be there to assist you in anyway possible! I will definitely recommend you to any friends, family, foreigners that I have or will meet!
