I really recommend DREAM Eye Center. They really have been a dream come true! I had thought about eye surgery in the US, but was put off by the prices and lack of accessibility. At DREAM Eye Center, the LASEK procedure was less than half of what it would cost in the US, and Dream Eye Center has incredible doctors. I felt totally safe and comfortable with them. The staff has always been incredibly kind and accommodating, even when I come in cranky after a long trip. I see the same staff (Susan and Dr. Lee) every time I come in. They are so nice and they speak excellent English, so I never had any qualms about using their clinic. They are also so accommodating if you want to set up a payment plan. They are very flexible about everything: scheduling, payments, appointment times.
As to the procedure itself, it was completely worth it. The actual operation was very fast and painless. Although there is some discomfort for a couple days after LASEK, it was very bearable considering the amazing results! I now have better than perfect vision. It's so nice not to have to bother with glasses or contacts, to be able to watch TV from bed, walk into warm buildings in winter without glasses fogging up, and all these other little things that you don't even think about dealing with until you don't have to anymore. I even wear more makeup now that I don't have to deal with it getting on my contacts and irritating my eyes.
I knew two people in my small town who had LASEK at DREAM, and since I got my procedure done, I've recommended it to three friends who also got surgery at DREAM. They all agree it was one of the best decisions they've ever made.
I have no regrets, and I highly recommend DREAM to anyone thinking about laser vision surgery.
