I have been wearing glasses since I was 5 and never wanted to have eye surgery as I thought it was too risky, too expensive, too painful, etc ...
My husband had it done, my best friend had it done, so that gave me a little more courage to have pre examination and decide.
And yes, I have been without glasses now for 2 months and what a joy! It's so nice to be able to wake up and see and to take a shower and notice what's on your soap bottles ;)
The first three days were not really painful, it was mainly a big discomfort. I was lucky to have my husband who took good care of me. I would recommend to sleep as much as you can in the first days, time goes much quicker that way and before you know it, the lenses are out and the irritation is gone!
What really made my decision to undergo the surgery (plus to have it at Dream Eye Center - we checked other clinics as well) is the fact that the staff at Dream Eye is very supporting. They knew I was extremely nervous to have it done, they reassured me every time, answered every question professionally and even held my hand while undergoing surgery. For my check ups I never have to wait long, and I really like the atmosphere they have created at the Center.
If you have any doubts to have the surgery done, don't hesitate but just go for it!
A big thanks to Dr. Lee, Mr. Choo and especially to Susan!
