I have to admit that I had waited for four years since I arrived in Korea to get laser surgery. There was always a convenient reason not to go. Travel, no time for recovery, not enough money, etc. In reality it was all a thinly veiled excuse not to let somebody go in and poke around my eye. I always meant to get it done and when I realized I was leaving shortly I decided that it was now or never. I'm kicking myself for waiting so long to get it done. The whole surgery took around 15 minutes from laying down on the table to walking out with my new eyes. I'm just about a month into my recovery and I have close to 20/20 vision and it's improving constantly. The best thing they don't tell you is that every morning is like being a kid at Christmas again. You wake up and throw your eyes open because you want to see how much your eyes have improved. I cannot recommend this clinic enough. Everyone on the English speaking staff, and the couple of poor techs who didn't speak English yet struggled so mightily to help me out, were awesome.
