I have worn glasses as long as I can remember and wanted to get LASEK for several years. Having worked as an English teacher in Suwon for over half a year I decided to start checking places out. The Dream Eye Center in Gangnam quickly came up on my list and offered me a free consultation. After the consultation and some more thinking I decided to go ahead with the surgery. Dr. Lee was very reassuring throughout the procedure, which only lasted a few minutes (the actual laser part lasts not more than 3 seconds per eye and tracks any eye movement you have so you don't need to worry about anything!) The first day, my eyes hurt substantially, and for the next few days they hurt a lot (this is all part of how the healing process works, as explained to me by the assistant).
Fast forward to five months later, I am happy to report I am seeing better than 20/20 in both eyes! I can actually read the smallest line on the eye chart in my left eye - and the world is clearer than ever before. The eye clinic gives continued support, and the constant check-ups and eye-drop refills are very helpful. If you follow their post-surgery instruction you will undoubtedly have great vision too! I whole-heartedly recommend this clinic to anyone looking to better their vision.
