I really can’t thank the Dream Eye Center in Gangnam enough for their amazing work in improving my eyesight. I never thought I’d be a candidate for this kind of surgery; however, their technology and expertise are simply the best! I’ve had extremely poor eyesight (very high myopia) since 1st grade of elementary school, having to wear glasses and, later, contacts every day. Thick glasses weren’t so aesthetically pleasing and contacts were always such a hassle. I’m currently 2 months post-surgery and my eyes are already great. And I’m told they will keep getting better as the months go by!
In February 2013, I decided to get Wavefront M-LASEK surgery. This has to be the most life-changing decision and best investment I’ve made so far, and I’m incredibly happy with the results. Of course, I was quite nervous in the beginning, but Susan and Mr. Choo took really good care of me and answered every possible question I had under the sun during my consultation. I felt very comfortable with them and they confidently reassured me through every aspect of the process. Dr. Lee was also very caring and confident in the success of my surgery and continues to look after the future success of my recovery. Having such kind, fantastic staff that can also speak English well was such a plus!
As with any surgery, I was a bit scared beforehand and during it and hoped everything went well. But the surgery itself was pretty fast, and hearing Dr. Lee say at the end that it was a success was a great relief. The toughest day of recovery was around the second day, which I was well prepared for. After the slight pain of that day, it was smooth sailing thereafter with my new eyes!
It’s really such “a whole new world” for me that I can hardly remember having to wear glasses and contacts, even though it was previously such a big part of my life. I highly recommend choosing the Dream Eye Center for your eyesight needs, and I want to thank Susan, Mr. Choo, and especially Dr. Lee again for taking great care of me!^^
