I've been wearing glasses since the third grade I think. I've been pretty near sighted without my glasses most of my life--not being able to see clearly without them. One of my biggest problems was falling asleep with my glasses on and breaking many pairs throughout my childhood!
In college I decided to invest in wearing contacts since I began playing college basketball. I liked wearing contacts much better than my glasses and wore glasses less and less. However, I always felt that contacts were not the healthiest for my eyes and it only took me one time to get an eye infection, that I decided I need to find a new alternative.
After considering lasik years before with my eye doctor in the U.S., I finally decided to seriously consider having the procedure done in South Korea before returning to my home country. After some research and many recommendations by other foreigners for Dream Eye Center (my co-worker included) I decided to make an appointment!
After the lasik operation I was amazed by how well I could see right after the surgery, which is huge for someone with high myopia! I was also impressed with the staff and how well they followed up with me to make sure I was recovering well. Everyday I wake up and can't believe I'm seeing clearly without my glasses or contacts. I don't have to worry about falling asIeep with my glasses or contacts anymore or risk an eye infection from my contacts. If you are wondering if you should get this procedure done at Dream Eye Center, the answer is yes you should. You'll be amazed day after day and wonder why you waited so long to have a life with glasses and/or contacts!
