I have been wearing glasses since I was 10 years old. I have been contemplating for years on getting this LASIK/LASEK and I finally took the plunge on December 22, 2011. It has been one of the greatest investments I have made. No more waking up and seeing the blurry alarm clock. No more foggy glasses. No more missing glasses or even fooling around with the hassle of putting on contacts.
The staff at Dream Eye has been very kind and thorough. When I first came to get a consultation, they went through the differences between each method. The consultation itself took about 2 hours but it was well worth the information given. When I had my surgery, Dr. Lee walked me through every step telling what he was doing and what was to be expected. No gimmicks at all.
Recovery process was a little hard the first week or two so if you can, take a week off. You'll be fine even though I didn't take a day off. I had my surgery done on Thursday (Friday was a holiday) and went back to work on Monday. It was a litte uncomfortable but not something I couldn't handle.
