I received my LASEK procedure back in May; however, before I chose DREAM EYE CENTER, I researched and explored all of my options. I had visited 3 different eye centers, undergone their lengthy examinations and consultations but finally made a fully-informed decision to pursue DREAM EYE CENTER. My decision was based upon, but not limited to their superior equipment, rigorous examinations, individualized and fitting recommendations, expertise and professionalism, English proficiency and hospitality.
A co-worker and I had the procedure done one after the other. It went swimmingly. Pain started to set in after an hour and continued for the next 2-3 days. I received a prescript ion of hydrocodone (Vicodin) from a separate, third-party physician to help alleviate the pain. After the first 3 days of pain and 5 days of blurred vision, recovery was smooth sailing.
My vision was extremely good on day 7, my checkup day. My vision fluctuated from this point until finally becoming stable around the 3rd month post-surgery. It has now been 4 months since my procedure, and the doctor confirmed my vision to be in the top 5%, due that I can read the bottom line effortlessly. Currently, my left eye has a sharper clarity than my right, but it’s barely noticeable – hopefully my right eye will catch up after the 6 month-period of “vision fluctuation.”
Post-procedure care is exceptional. Overall, a great and worthy experience –highly recommended!
