My eyes were never TERRIBLE, but I could always benefit from some laser eye surgery. So, I opted for the Lasek, mainly because it caters to a more active lifestyle.
Pre OP the staff were friendly and reassuring. They even went above and beyond to fill out an eye exam form I needed for back home in the 20/20 format.
The surgery itself was quick, painless, and easy. They handed me enough eye drops to bathe in and sent me off. The next couple of days were uncomfortable and blurry to say the least. (Teaching a room full of students who appear as colour blobs is difficult) Still, the staff at D.E.C. were always reassuring me that everything was normal and it would soon be crystal clear. The rate it was going...I wasn't so sure.
Sure enought my eyesight ever so slowly increased until near, if not perfect, 20/20 vision (going in for a check up today so we'll see if it's increased some more). The rate at which it got better was enough to make me worry at times. Kudos to Dream Eye Center for dealing with my questions and skepticism.
So, to anyone thinking about shooting lasers into your corneas, let Dream Eye Center do it for you. They know what they're doing.
