I decided to pursue laser eye corrective surgery after several friends in the city had it done. After a little research, Dream Eye Center clearly stood out as an extremely repudable establishment with a long history of success.
It is hard to describe how amazing it is to wake up in the morning and be able to see. Sometimes I'm still taken aback and think to myself that I slept with my contact lenses in. Taking part in any physical activities (especially swimming) is where I notice the difference the most. Having had to deal with glasses for nearly 20 years, the new freedom feels fantastic.
The recovery process was a little painful at first, and be warned that day 2 and 3 will not be the highest points in your life. But the weeks afterwards are just amazing - every day I saw a little better and a little more clearly. About a month in I was seeing better than 20/20. This isn't the norm I'm told (but I'm thrilled I'm in the top perentile), but Dream Eye center has a great track record in terms of getting patients of to the 20/20 level.
I really recommend this place - the facilities are great, they are extremely throrough in there pre-surgery testing and equally as thorough and supportive post-surgery. It was also quite affordable and I consider the cost an investment. No more glasses or contacts!
