I've worn glasses since third grade and I've always been envious of those with perfect vision. I've thought of getting lasik done for years, but was concerned by the fact that most eye doctors choose not to wear contacts or undergo surgery and its possible side effects. But I finally decided to take a chance despite the risks and I'm very glad I did. It was an easy procedure with little pain and it's wonderful to see the world so clearly. The staff is also very friendly and welcoming and even showered my two toddlers with attention. And in case you're wondering, there are doctors on staff who have gotten lasik from their coworkers, so I found that very reassuring. If you're on the fence about lasik, I would recommend getting a consult done anyway. Chances are you will choose to get the procedure done like I did.
