I was a little apprehensive to spend the money for Lasek at Dream Eye Center because it is a little more expensive than some other clinics I heard about. However, the level of care and assistance was totally worth it. I was recommended to Dream Eye Center by a friend who said it was the best thing he'd ever done and I have to agree. I had a very high prescript ion so I didn't even know if Lasek was an option for me, but they did a great job.
The location was great for me, it is a 2 min walk from the red line (Shinbundang) exit #4.
I had heard horror stories about the pain on day 3 after surgery, but it wasn't that bad (don't get me wrong it did hurt but you should be able to handle it), I recommend sleeping through the day.
I love the fact that I can wake up in the middle of the night and see! I wore glasses for over 20 years and it has been 4 months since my surgery, I still get confused sometimes when I can see in the morning without having to put on glasses, but then I remember it's because I had Lasek. The gift of sight is amazing, I can't believe I waited so long to get it done. If I had to go through it again I would, as I said before it is totally worth it!
