When I first had the idea to do Lasek eye surgery, I will admit I was nervous. I wanted to find a doctor that I could trust, and one who had the experience to do a great job. Here at the Dream Eye Center I found everything that I needed to find in order to feel like I was making the best decision of my life. The staff is very welcoming and friendly, which helped me to not feel nervous, even on the day of my surgery!
After the surgery, it is like a new world. It might seem like something small to people who have good vision but, for someone like me, the moment I sat up from the surgery bed and saw my shoes waiting for me, I was amazed! I realized from that moment that my life had changed!
I should also add, that with any surgery there was some pain. The first day, and the second day were quite ok. I was sensitive to light, and there was some pain but the drops provided by the Dream Eye Center really helped with those days; they were quite comfortable. The third day was the most painful. Regardless of the pain, I would do it a thousand times again! Now that it is over, it is truly amazing! No glasses! No contacts! When I wake up in the morning and look at my alarm clock, I can actually see what time it is! No worries about contact solutions, or cases! Being free from something that I have needed my whole life has never felt so good!
