Hello, I got LASIK eye surgery 6 months ago at Dream Eye Center in Myeong dong. At first I was hesitant to have such an invasive procedure done in South Korea, without the comfort of my native language and familiar health care setting. However, I experienced one of the most satisfying medical experiences I have ever had. Dr. Hu and Optometrist Mun Joo Kim were very personable, caring, and responsive to my medical needs. They were very professional, yet personable and made me feel completely at ease. They explained everything in clear English, and made sure I was totally comfortable with what was going to happen before and during the procedure. A surgery that sounds and could have been scary was as comfortable as possible. I highly recommend Dream Eye Center for this operation. Not only was the patient care great, but I love the results! As a traveler, the worst thing about my trips was having to bother with contacts. I just returned from a month-long vacation in New Zealand and did not worry or get irritated with my eyes as usual. I totally recommend getting the LASIK. I love it.
