I got Lasek eye surgery about 4 months ago at the Gangnam Clinic and it's been amazing not having to wear glasses anymore. A friend's friend recommended Dream Eye Center as well as many positive reviews/experiences on forums, so I decided to go ahead and book a consultation appt. It took around 2 hours for all the tests as well as the meeting with the doctor. The surgery itself was painless, but that evening and the first 3 or 4 days, it was painful (not a lot), but enough to be uncomfortable. I stayed indoors mostly and even wore my sunglasses indoors as my eyes were extremely sensitive to light. I mostly just closed my eyes/slept for the first few days because it felt a lot better to keep my eyes closed. For the first 3-4 days, do NOT attempt to look at a computer screen, read a book, or anything that requires short focal distance because your eyes will still be very blurry and will hurt more while you're straining to see what's in front of you. I believe my eyesight is still not 100% (20/20), but it's really close...and the doctor said that it would take longer for people with a high degree of myopia and astigmatism. Lastly, Mr. Choo has been very helpful in all aspects before, during, and after surgery. I would recommend this clinic if you plan on getting Lasik/Lasek eye surgery.
