I've been thinking of getting this surgery for several years now. A friend of mine got her eyes done here at Dream Eye and was satisfied with her results, so I decided to go in for a consultation. I felt that for this clinic safety was very important to them and noticed that the staff that I came into contact with had undergone the procedure as well.
The surgery went smoothly for me. Other than the cold water used to rinse your eyes and the pinch of the suction hose, the operation was great and painless. There was some blurriness after the operation but nothing debilitating. The first day, my eyes were irritated like I had left my contacts in too long. My third day was similar. I was teaching on the fourth day. My students had a thrill to see there teacher teaching in sunglasses for a week.
I'm three months into this new glasses free life. My classroom can be a little too bright sometimes but we have blinds so there is no problem there. I'm enjoying roaming around without a need for glasses. It's nice to not have to worry about falling asleep with your glasses on. I've broke too many pairs doing that. Freedom from those glasses is to be relished.
