Jacob Three years ago I went for my eye surgery. I was very nervous, but all the staff at Dream Eye Center were fantastic! Susan explained everything and was there with me all the way. Surgery itself was quick and painless. My eyesight steadily improved over the first year and is now better than 20/20! My eyes are perfect and I have no issues with them. The level of professionalism and and quality of service was (and still is) exceptional. Kristina Shin I am amazed by how much my vision has changed since the first day I came to Dream Eye Center for a consultation. My eye situation was not so great. I had corneal scarring due to contact overwear, high myopia, crazy astigmatism, etc... just bad! I was told by my eye doctor in the U.S that I would not be a candidate for Lasik/Lasek or even ICL surgery due to my high astigmatism. I researched online and found that a surgery called Toric ICL Surgery can treat high myopia and astigmatism at the same time. Since this surgery is currently not FDA approved in America, I looked online of places in South Korea that perform this surgery. I found that many did, and out of those, Dream Eye Center was highly rated and came up as top places to go for corrective eye surgery. After making an appointment and going through consultation, I ended up getting the Toric Aqua ICL surgery by Dr. Jung Choong Ki. Although I do speak korean, the doctor and staff were able to explain to me in english if I didn't understand something. The hospitality was great and more than anything, I could really tell that the doctors are highly skilled doctors who genuinely want the best for their patients. Thanks again :)

Ashley The consultation was extremely thorough. The staff makes sure you have all the information you need to make an informed decision. I didn’t feel pushed into deciding right away if I wanted surgery. The surgery itself was quick and painless. A kind nurse even held my hand during the surgery. Caroline I had Standard Zero Lasek performed by Dr. Hu Yung Jae in late January. I'm just over three months out, and I am so thankful for my corrected vision and my decision to go to Dream Eye! Lasek involves slightly longer recovery, but it was still totally worth it! Jessica Xie It has been a month since my Lasek surgery and I have never felt better! I had the 2-day less pain surgery with all laser. The technicians at Dream made me feel at ease. I felt extremely comfortable and confident. Though laser surgery can be scary, Dream technicians knew exactly how to make me feel relieved. Rebecca I cannot recommend Dream Eye Center enough. When I went in for my thorough eye consultation, I knew it was the right place to get LASEK eye surgery. The staff at Dream Eye Center are very helpful and walk you through all the steps and options. By the end of it, I was fully informed and knew exactly what I needed to know. The staff all speak English so the language barrier won't be an issue. There are flexible and accommodating. Living outside of Gangnam, it isn't easy to commute there. The staff were accommodating and booked me in for monthly follow up appointments at my convenience. I am very happy with the quality of treatment I have received. My eye sight has improved and I no longer need to wear glasses or squint because of my nearsightedness.

Ying I am extremely impressed with the exceptional customer service, thoroughness, accuracy, and meticulousness of Dream Eye Center. They are organized, clean, efficient, and careful. I had LASIK on Oct 4 and the consultation, procedure, and post op went as seamless as ever. Waiting times were very short. Within 1 hour of leaving the eye center, I felt as thought my eyes had never been worked on. I was expecting to feel nervous, but I was pleasantly surprised when I felt at ease during the process because of how comfortable and confident I felt with Dream Eye. They even gave me a stuffed animal to hug. They drew my blood and used the serum to make eye drops. This nourishes the eye ball and is not something that is done in the usa. (I also had a consult in the usa). I am beyond pleased with the procedure and I'm glad I didn't listen to all my uptight, unknowledgeable friends in the usa who warned me against doing lasik in Korea. Now they all want to have the procedure in Korea too!

Savann This was one of the best decisions I've ever made. I came to this particular clinic because of all of the positive reviews. They were not wrong. Most if not all the staff speak English and their bedside manners are wonderful. They're super helpful and double check your condition to make sure you which procedure would be safest for you, if any. The pre-operation tests were very thorough and the operation itself was only about 10 pain-free minutes. One of the nurses even held my hand as well as gave me a plush doll to hold to calm my nerves. Overall, I'm totally satisfied. I definitely recommend Dream Eye Clinic in Gangnam.

Steve DREAM EYE CENTER was fantastic. The staff were very patient, guiding me from one machine to another. Tests were very thorough. They also did an Avellino DNA test and advised me not to do surgery unless I had done all tests. Everything was explained to me and the time was taken to make sure I understand everything that I would need to know. I am absolutely delighted with the consultation and the professionalism of the place. I’m looking forward now to having my surgery done there! I had previously visited a different clinic (I won’t mention names), however I was not comfortable at all. The first clinic I visited felt more like ‘a factory’. I was rushed about person to person, my questions weren’t answered well and they only did half the tests that D.E.C. did. I didn’t even get to meet the doctor and they kept pushing for me to do surgery right there and then. Alarm bells were ringing! That’s why I decided to try D.E.C. instead. D.E.C. was definitely the right choice! I am glad I decided to pay them a visit!

Chris I was recommended Dream Eye Center by friends who had Lasek done there. The staff are very friendly and can speak English well if you're not a Korean speaker. The consultation is done very efficiently by the staff and at each stage of the testing they will discuss with you the results and what it means for you, as well as comparing the results with what is optimum and what they would see if you have a problem. I would recommend anyone who is curious about getting eye surgery to visit the clinic and at the very least get a consultation there too.

Jessica Jay I have worn glasses/contacts since I was 8 years old. I was a bit tired of having to remember my glasses/contacts every time I went somewhere and the discomfort I continuously experienced because of them. I was curious about Lasek surgery and after talking to a few of my fellow teachers, I decided to go in for a consultation because I had heard nothing but great things about this particular center. I inquired about coming in for a consultation and received a phone call the following morning. I couldn't believe how fast the response time was and that I was now set up for a consultation visit! I was so impressed, I set up my surgery to be done one week after my consultation. Upon going in for surgery I had many doubts and was really anxious/scared. However, the staff was very comforting and reassured me that there was nothing to worry about; and there wasn't. Surgery went smoothly- no pain at all. Staff members were absolutely wonderful and today I am loving my vision!! It is so wonderful to wake up and to be able to see everything so clearly. I would definitely suggest "going for it" if you're curious but unsure. I can't believe I did not do this earlier in my life- it is the best investment I have ever made!! Gil Paterson Wow, I can't believe how amazing the whole LASEK experience was-- 　　From beginning to end, Dream Eye was extremely helpful and informative, I've never had such good customer service. I was worried about the pain/recovery of having the Lasek, because it is such an individual surgery- but the recovery process was as outlined and described by the doctors. Only for 2days I have a little discomfort. On day 3, Everything was fine. From that moment I could sleep and could look at a computer screen. After 2 weeks I felt as if I'd never even had major eye surgery...Seriously, it's such a relief not to have to worry about bringing contact cases/solution/glasses when you go away for the weekend... This could be one of the best decisions you ever make! I HIGHLY recommend Dream Eye Center, especially if you're a foreigner- if you have any problems-- the last thing you wanna do is have to find someone to translate

Jones Mahir Kyle I got LASEK eye surgery a few months ago and I'm very happy with the results! The surgery was painless, and the recovery has been very smooth with only minor eye itchiness and dryness. The staff is also very friendly and helpful. The doctor spoke very good English and has lots of experience performing LASEK on both Koreans and on foreigners. It's a great eye center! Strongly Recommand Dream Eye Center!

Sullivan Root I had LASEK done at the Gangnam branch of Dream Eye Center back in May and I wanted to wait a few months before I wrote a testimonial. I have to say that after 3 months of perfect vision I cannot even remember life with contacts. I had moderate near nearsightedness and my vision was very uneven. I could not even read the giant E on the vision test clearly without my contacts. So, even though its bad for your eyes, I wore my contacts about 12 hours a day so my eyes were always dry. I had worn contacts for 9 years so I was very accustomed to living with the uncomfortable feeling when something got in my eye, or the horrible experience of dropping my last pair of contacts on the bathroom floor and spending 10 minutes searching for it. However even though I was accustomed to it, I really hated wearing contacts! LASEK is still pretty expensive in the US so I could never afford it. However, in Korea LASEK is very affordable so I decided to give it a go. I'm so glad I did! The surgery itself was only 10 minutes and felt weird but not painful at all. after the surgery, I was uncomfortable for 2 days but surprisingly I didn't have any pain at all. After one week I was good to go and didn't feel much discomfort except for occasional dryness. After about two weeks I was totally back to myself except I could now see clearly! I'm surprised by how quickly I got used to my new clear vision. I definitely don't miss stumbling to the bathroom in the morning to put on my contacts or getting all comfy in bed at night only to find that I forgot to take out my contacts and having to get up and take them out. I love my new contact-free life so much that I wanted to take some time to encourage other people to give it a go! The Dream Eye Center staff are so friendly and helpful and speak English very well. I would 100% recommend going to Dream Eye and scheduling a consultation!
